frankly i thought i did a journal for that... it um... happened in august...
Homunculus and the Cat: Just a typical kitten saves the afterlife story, disguised as a book about death.

In a world where every culture’s mythology is real, Medusa’s sisters want revenge on Poseidon, Troy is under siege again, and the Yakuza want their homunculi (mythological artificial humans) back.

Near Atlantis’ Chinatown, a kitten and her human campaign for homunculi rights. Against them are Japanese death gods, an underworld cult, and a fat Atlantean bureaucrat.

The main character dies (more than once) and a few underworlds’ way of death is threatened.

There are Also giant armored battle squids.

nano rebel- editing 100k of pantheon instead of writing a sequel or another stand alone or side project. sorry guys (talking to my novels/characters) but youre just on the shelf, not the waste bin.

I really like how Pantheon is turning out so critics can piss off maybe?

news: i have three agents that said YES to me sending them more stuff...one of them like really really wants me to send them something besides the Cat story...cause well...its too weird.

ALL of them liked my writing style. so i think pantheon updated will be just the ticket...

ive posted chapter one. enjoy! will post more.

another update!

1 min read
ive mostly just been lurking around here, working quietly and slowly on my own...

ive got a few new projects:

-most recently a steampunk thing, Copperblossom - about photosynthesis and photography.
-a "punk" fantasy book, The Bloodletter's Star - about zodiac-based magic, beekeeping and blood-stealing monks.
-and conceptualization for the sequel to pantheon.

ive submitted homunculus and the cat around. tons of form rejections. except i did get a really awesome personalized one off a pitch i did this spring. she though the book was "too unique" ...IKR!!! well whatever.

also a re-tooling of Pantheon is on the dockett...so there'll be that one day.

new website - url coming soon, once we get the domain xfered.

and ive been encouraged to get back to some of those myth re-tellings. so well see how that goes.

stay tuned.  i promise to post something, probably some more steampunk really soon.

its been a while since ive updated:

- went to a writing conference locally and met some neat people...
- i pitched to 2 editors and 1 agent (first time pitching ever) it went super well...they all requested material, two of them requested a FULL manuscript!!!! YAY this had me so excited for a long time. but now its worn off and im sick of waiting to hear back from them. (the one who did not request a full declined)

- ive started a weekly flash fiction, mythology story on my blog www.nathancroft.com/ so far ive only posted three myths that call also be found in my gallery here.

- actively begun using twitter neophytegod

anyway hopefully some good news rolls around soon.

to me:
Thanks for your query. Mind sending along the first five pages of your manuscript in the body of an e-mail? I'd be happy to take a look and let you know whether the style is the best fit for me.
Thanks, Andrea
